My name is Al Roberts, owner of AWR Web Design which is located in Windsor Locks, Connecticut. I established AWR Web Design in 2006, building custom web sites for small businesses and organizations. I have over 20 years of computer experience including sales, hardware repair, software installation and programming. Besides my computer experience I also have 8 years of retail sales management and over 10 years of public safety experience.

This all began when an organization I am a member of asked me to build them a web site. I built them a web site with the basic knowledge that I had, but soon realized that I needed to know more so I could build a better looking and functioning site. I started to educate myself on the many different aspects of web design, including programming languages, graphic design and optimization. This knowledge has given me the ability to build a wide variety of sites from the very basic to more advanced database driven web sites and web applications.
