We just recently completed the overhaul of the Broad Brook Fire Department website. (bbfd.org) As we do with all of our projects, the site was built on the Joomla! CMS platform.  The department requested an area that only its members can access where they post training information, department policies and various other sensitive material.

The site also includes a custom designed template, calendar with upcoming events module, photo and video galleries and a commenting system including a guest book.

The site is full of interesting content from department apparatus, list of department personnel, photo galleries and a department history complete with pictures and timeline.

Deputy Chief Gerald Bancroft and Captain Steven Long worked closely with AWR Web Design to complete this project.  Deputy Chief Bancroft offered these comments about his experience.

"It has been a pleasure to work with Al Roberts of AWR Web Design. He has been more than accommodating when providing our website with upgrades for our department, as well as a new fresh look to the overall website layout. He has been able to provide us with new ideas and feedback on how to maximize the layout with the information we have provided to him for the site. Al has been able to meet all of my requests and needs for the site at a very fair cost. "

AWR Web Design is proud to have worked on this project with the BBFD, providing them with a site that not only professionally represents their department but also is a valuable tool to its members.
